Playing melodies

Use the chord buttons (keyboard) to play melodies.

Tips

• Position the supplied keyboard overlay on the chord buttons so that you can easily recognize the keyboard layout.

1     Set the controls as shown.

2     Press the [KEYBOARD (ON)] button to turn on its LED.

The keyboard mode is enabled.

3     Use the [VOICE] buttons to select a voice (⇒).

4     Use the [PATTERN] buttons to select a rhythm (⇒).

5     Use the chord buttons (keyboard) to start playing.

6     To play melodies to the rhythm, press the [Rhythm Start/Sync Start] button to select “Start”.

Tips

• To adjust the volume of the keyboard, use the [STRUMPLATE Main Volume] and [STRUMPLATE Sub Volume] knobs.

• You can adjust the sounding octave of the keyboard (⇒).
