Connecting to power source

■ Using batteries

1     Remove the battery cover and insert eight AA batteries (sold separately) into the battery box in the right way.

Use of alkaline batteries is recommended. Rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH) can be used.

2     Attach the battery cover.

The Power LED indicates the current battery level when batteries are used.

Note

• Due to the characteristic of rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH), the battery level may be recognized less than the actual amount. When using rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH) or when replacing them with alkaline batteries, configure the battery level indicator setting ().

■ Using the AC adaptor

Connect an authorized AC adaptor to the DC12V/1A jack on this unit, then connect it to an AC power outlet.

• Power source via the AC adaptor has priority over the batteries.
