Configuring the MIDI transmit settings

Configure MIDI receive settings on the external MIDI device, and MIDI transmit settings on this unit.

Tips

• For details about a cable connection, refer to “Connecting an audio or MIDI device” ().

• For information about MIDI receive settings, refer to the manual of your MIDI device.

1     Turn off this unit ().

2     Press and hold the [VOICE] buttons which correspond to the setup parameters and press the [Power] button.

For details about each setup parameter, refer to “MIDI information” ().

Example:

When selecting “Volume CC: On”. “Preset 2” and “Decay/Release CC: Off”

When selecting “Volume CC: Off”, “Preset 3” and “Decay/Release CC: On”

Note

• Even when you wish to change the Volume CC or Decay/Release setting only, press the [VOICE] button for Preset at the same time.

3     When the [VOICE] LED flashes, release the button.

This unit is turned on with the new setting.

Note

• In case you only wish to hear sound from the external MIDI device, set the [Master Volume] knob to minimum. The [SPEAKER (ON/OFF)] switch will not work in this scenario.
